This three hour clinic will start participants at river edges and get them into the flow by introducing them to skills and knowledge needed for river paddling. The clinic focuses on your personal safety and managing hazards on the river.
Learning how to apply your established flat-water skills in a dynamic river environment while feeling comfortable moving in and out of current and identifying river hazards.
After completing this course participants can expect to feel comfortable taking a personal (unguided) SUP trip on Class 1 rivers. They will have an better understanding of the potential hazards that a river may pose along with a variety of new skills that can be applied to the moving water environment.
