Description: This three hour clinic starts participants at river edges and gets them into the flow by introducing them to the skills and knowledge needed. The clinic focuses on your personal safety, managing hazards on the river, and learning basic river paddling skills.
Goal: Learning how to apply your established advanced flat-water skills in a dynamic river environment, while feeling comfortable moving in and out of current and identifying river hazards.
Results: Participants will have a basic understanding of the potential hazards that a river may pose along with a variety of new skills that can be applied to the moving water environment.
