Description: This three hour clinic will take participants down easy flowing waters and grant them time to apply their new skills and knowledge. The clinic focuses on exercising personal safety, practicing skills to different river feature locations, and basics hazard navigation on Class 1 water.
Goal: Learning how to apply your River 1 basic skills in a beginner river environment.
Results: After completing these clinics participants can expect to feel comfortable taking a personal (unguided) SUP trip on Class 1 rivers. They will have a better understanding of the potential hazards that a river may pose along with a practiced variety of new skills.

Environment: River Duration : 3 hrs Cost: $90 Skills Level: Intermediate Ages: 16+ ( 10+ accompanied by parent/guardian) Pre-Requisites: Advanced Flat-water SUP or similar experience (20+ hrs paddling) : River 1 Basics Skills Please note ahead of time that participants will be expected to know, understand and be able to paddle straight and perform flat water skills. These skills will have been developed and combined in the River 1 Basics. Gear Required.: Board, Quick Release Leash, Paddle, PFD, Helmet (All Gear Can be provided) Mandatory brought by participant: closed toe water shoes/old running shoes that can get wet Instructor to # of Students: 1:5 ( Minimum 2 students Maximum 5 )
